The March of Dimes has changed the name of its biggest event to March for Babies. It's a great change because it makes it very clear exactly who I am walking for -- all babies. I am very excited to be a part of the “first” March for Babies; please support my participation.Although the name of this signature event changed, the mission did not. The March of Dimes champions the needs of moms and babies in our community and across the nation. The money we raise for March for Babies will support lifesaving research, services, education and advocacy that help babies get a healthy start.

New Blog Design

Have you noticed my new look? My blog's new look that is. Pretty, huh?

Ragan, owner of Blogger Boutique, donated this design. She's the genius behind the design. Have you ever tried writing HTML code? Let me tell you, I tried to do some minor changes to my blog. By minor, I mean I simply wanted to add three columns with each column being centered. I'm proud to say I got 3 columns, but I couldn't get the text to wrap correctly resulting in the text running across columns. To fix that I began altering the codes. To fix that I had to delete my blogs domain name and start over! So, when I say 'genius' I mean it. ...A very generous genius too, as I mentioned above, she donated her time to create this blog makeover for me. In addition, her designs are priced right. I love these things! This one is made from cloth as opposed to the others made with cotton webbing and ribbon. It's super soft and fits nicely around your wrist.

A New Apron

I love making aprons!

Here's the latest. It's a birthday gift for Taylor's teacher. She's always dressed so nice and spends the good part of her day with 5-6 years olds armed with glue sticks, paints, and markers. My favorite part is, it's reversible!

Oaky. so no one needs one of these, but they're so darn cute!

Lipstick.chapstick holder $2.50

It's much easier to find your favorite tube of lipstick/chapstick in this cute little holder than when it's just rolling around in the bottom of your purse.

Shown with optional velcro strap to go around purse straps. I could also use a D ring or small leash hook (.50 extra) to hook to your keys, loop inside your purse, or the handles.

Heating/Ice Packs

Keep in the freezer for bumps and bruises, or toss one in the microwave for sore muscles and cramps. Filled with rice, it holds the cold well and has conforms to your body well for added soothing comfort. Great 'green' alternative to Ziplocs of ice or heating pads that require constant electricity.

12x15 $8.00 - Filled with 5-6 lbs of rice. This feels SO good on a sore back.

Sometimes when I try new things they don't always work out like I want. I don't use patterns(too cheap to buy them!), I have no instruction for the most part, so I have to learn a lot by making mistakes and learning from them (I actually enjoy that part!). This translates into a bargain for you!

I will list imperfect items here. They are free to you - If you're local, email me and we'll schedule a pick up. If your not local, you can have the item for the cost of shipping.

My decision is, that I can't decide.

So, here's what I'm going to do: You have to decide. With each purchase you make, I will ask YOU to decide which of the two charities you would like to donate the money to.

My goal is $500.00 combined. You can look at the right column anytime to see how much has been donated through this effort at any time. Donations will be made on the 1st of every month.

This a a great, organized way to carry your cloth wipes. Even if you don't cloth diaper, or use them to wipe little hiney's, they're great for little faces and hands.
